  1. For some of you who don’t know, the all new 2010 Porsche Panamera has come out into production selling for $89,900- $132,000 in the US. The Porsche has innovated a vehicle to meet the comfort of a sedan but they still managed to sculpt and create a coupe like sedan that remains to reflect its coupe DNA partner the Cayman.

The All new Infiniti High performance Sedan was speculated to Debut in 2009 as a concept and in 2010 as a production vehicle. Due to the economy the car was postponed to debut in the market of 2011. Infiniti anticipates to revive the all new 2011 Infiniti R-35 as the Flagship sedan for Infiniti which is based on the Nissan GTR but on a completely new platform that reflects Infiniti designs. Although price specs are not set in stone, though Infiniti believes the car will price within a figure of $87,000-$105,000 USD. The R35 will be designed and built to produce 420 HP- 450 HP. Its competitors include the all new Karma Fisker sedan also being introduced to the US in 2011, the Porsche Panamera, Maserati Quattroporte and the 2010 Jaguar XJ.

::::::So my question: Which of these two vehicles would you take? Will you go for something more exotic and such as the Panamera or will you take the sophisticated luxurious Infiniti R35?? Please only choose between these two::::::::::

  2. It can now be stated that the person known to Yahoo users as ‘malcolmg’ does not officially exist

His identity has been completely manufactured from possession’s stored in a box found in a 9th floor flat in Galway House, Islington

Included with some instructions on starting a Blog were; plans for some new Art, old Perishers books, some Topological studies, a recording of ‘Moonchild’ and ‘Venus as a Boy’ and a list of questions to be spun out over time on the internet

There is one known photo of him, but it was never published and whether it is still in circulation is uncertain

Information gathered on him has been sketchy

Some say he is to be found in the forgotten passages beneath the Barbican estate and is trying to form a Renegade Sophisticate army ready one day to be let loose on the World

Some say he is living as a troglodyte in the secret corridors of the Spinnaker Tower

Some say he haunts all these places

There have been many sightings of him at Art fairs, Concept Car shows, and small Bistros and Bars accompanied by a gentile young Woman of breathtaking beauty

It has been said that he is managing the shows in burlesque theatres in Paris, trying out his charm on the Can-Can girls and having the time of his life

And that he is really the Stig from ‘Top Gear’

And that he has taken charge of a team of saucy cheerleaders who, though he shows some strict authority still show respect

Who can really tell when is the right time for the connoisseurs of wit, style and form to make their return?

Perhaps he is really in the giant shadows you see from the corner of your eye when the candle gutters

Look for him there and in the shapes created by light shifting across the dark spaces of night and maybe you will catch a glimpse of his flitting form moving on to the next adventure
    Terri, there is no ‘me’

I am only a series of thoughts and ideas expressed on the internet
wallace5…, breath in, it is oxygen

  3. This story something that I have to do for school. I have to create an engaging imaginative response related to change that uses the following quotation in my opening sentence “The key to change is to let go of fear”.The word limit is 400 words

I kind of hoping for full marks, so any constructive criticism is much appreciated

The key to change is to let go of fear. These words reverberated in his mind. As John peered hard into the car mirror he examined his reflection. He still looked the same, but he felt vastly different. The mirror stared back at him with weary blue eyes bordered by freckled, tanned and wrinkling skin. Immediately thoughts began to form in John’s mind like grey clouds on the horizon. He could distinctly remember how he had felt when the doctor told him he had skin cancer.
It was a terrifying feeling, as if his life, his soul, was a pane of glass shattered by the shrilling squall which surged from the doctor’s serene lips. The future suddenly felt finite, and his formerly limitless possibilities now appeared inconsequential in the cold, clinical light of science. Returning home that gloomy morning, overwhelmed by a tide of depression he began writing a letter.
    My Darling,
I am heartbroken and torn that the time we have together is spanning short. Today, I got the results from the cancer screening. It seems that I had left it too late; the doctor told me that the cancer was already spreading through my bloodstream. I have only two months to live, but I see no good in waiting that long as it will only bring misery and expense. I cannot bear to see you suffer. Please try not to grieve.
Remember that I will always love you,
    John
It was in the car, when the lyrics pulsed through his mind that made him stop and think. The key to change is to let go of fear. The words sparked a chain reaction within his head which brought him to consider the truth of the words. The song is right, he thought, I can’t let this cancer alter the way I live. My life was perfectly fine before when I was ignorant of the cancer. As the candle within him renewed itself, he began to feel that there was hope. Positive thoughts began to seep into his mind, and he started to feel invincible. He was determined to get home before his wife, before his letter would change anything.
    ***
It was scarily, eerily, and forebodingly silent. As she entered the room, she saw a note lying on her bed. A wave of apprehension and shock rushed over her as she hurried over to read the message. It was written in his hand writing. When she placed down the note, tears were already trickling down her also tanned and wrinkling cheek as she mourned over her beloved husband John.

I thought that I might add the criteria for 4-5/5
-composes an engaging and well-structure response that demonstrates a personal understanding of the concept of change
-Consistently demonstrates control of language that is appropriate for the desired audience, purpose and context.

Thank you so much for sparing a few moment to help me.

  18. I always see these pictures of concept cars unveiled at auto shows, but I wonder what happens to them. Do they actually work and run or are they just shells of design? Do they get dismantled or end up in a museum?

  19. I was checking out the QarmaQ concept car and thought to myself that it was the coolest car I ever saw. Then again I’ve said that about many concept cars. The thing is these cars never make it to production. Instead its the same old crappy boring designs. Is it because the concept cars don’t even work? If so why even show them off. Why would I be impressed with a company that makes a nice looking car that doesn’t even function? Or maybe its obscenly expensive to make?

  31. I’ve always wondered why car companies make concept cars and I could never really figure out why. If concept cars are never released, why do car companies waste time and money creating concept cars in the first place?
