Introducing the Ferrari 599XX
The 599XX is one of the most marvellous concept cars rolled out in decades by Ferrari. Lot of extensive work has been carried out on the engine’s combustion chambers as well as inlet and exhaust tracts of Ferrari 599XX. This remarkable modification coupled with the internal improvement in the engine has increased the maximum revolutions to 9000 rpm whilst achieving the target power output of 700 hp at the maximum rpm. The reduction of engine weight was in focus and this was attained both by utilisation of new materials like carbon fibre for intake plenums and also by optimally enhancing the form – like the new crankshaft.
This extreme track car has an innovative electronic concept described as the High Performance Dynamic Concept which helps achieve maximum performance by electronically managing the whole subset of the cars mechanical limits. This synergy between the mechanical and the electronic subsystems deliver an unmatched performance, lap after lap.
The second generation SCM suspension system enhances the handling of the car and the improvement is visible even under extreme high performance driving. The ever evolving technology has also placed the “Virtual Car Engineer” on the dashboard of the Ferrari 599XX – the VCM gives real time indication of the vehicle efficiency and thereby simplifying track usage. Innovative design and optimising the Aerodynamics as well as the “Actiflow” system increases the downforce of the car, making it a force to be reckoned with.
